OLED是一種新興的高端顯示技術，具有自發光、對比度高、響應速度快、視角廣、色彩逼真、分辨率高、超薄、易于柔性顯示等諸多優點。目前市面上的照明產品都是點光源，而OLED屬于面光源，其色彩顯示更均勻、更豐富，也更易于調節；其顯色指數在85以上，產品的使用壽命可以達到2萬小時以上。OLED的面板厚度可以做到0.5-1mm，且可以做成柔性彎曲或透明狀態，而LED的厚度至少要8mm。

    OLED屬于冷光源，為全固態、非真空器件，具有高效能、低能耗、抗震蕩、耐低溫等優點，可以滿足包括民用照明、軌道列車客室照明、醫療照明在內的大部分照明需求，也可用于手機、個人數據處理器、數碼相機、汽車儀表盤等中小尺寸彩色顯示。

It can meet most lighting requirements, including residential lighting, rail train compartment lighting, medical lighting, can also be used for cell phone and personal data processor, digital camera, such as car dashboard for small and medium size color display.
